Portraits of chairmen of the Moscow Soviet of People’s Deputies in gallery of the Moscow mayors

In 2018 the gallery of portraits of the Moscow mayors was replenished with sixteen portraits of chairmen of the Moscow Soviet of People’s Deputies.

Oleg Zakomorny at the opening of the exhibition of the Moscow City Duma devoted to the 25th anniversary: “However, the history of Moscow does not come to an end with the October revolution of 1917. Today I present you 16 portraits of chairmen of the Moscow Soviet of People’s Deputies. These portraits logically culminate the exposition of the Moscow mayors, from the historical point of view. From now on these portraits will also decorate walls of capital parliament.”
