The image of woman is very mysterious, attractive and captivating for my artistic nature. This overwhelming element of nature is stronger than me.

When depicting a woman in portraits or compositions, I seek for subtle intonations, for something intangible, how can it be otherwise?

My oeuvre includes a lot of depictions of my wife — my faithful companion and ally Irina. Her image is an endless source for me. Her presence in my life and in my art is my true inspiration.
